Program Offers $145,000 for Innovative Ag Business

ag innovation challenge, FFBF, entrepreneursFlorida entrepreneurs can compete for $145,000 in startup money in the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2021 Ag Innovation Challenge.

The money will be awarded to businesses that can address long-term challenges facing agriculture, such as water use, or problems created by the COVID-19 crisis.

Applicants also compete for the title of Farm Bureau Entrepreneur of the Year and $50,000, plus additional funding. The recipient of the national award will be introduced at the American Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in January in San Diego, Calif. Ten semifinalists will also win cash awards.
