Florida Farm Bureau has recognized Abby Godwin of Jefferson County as the recipient of the 2020 Team Player Award.
The Team Player Award is presented to a Farm Bureau insurance agent who has made an exceptional effort to support the mission of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation.
During the past year, Godwin has taken the initiative to be involved in local county Farm Bureau functions. She has demonstrated leadership by taking part in volunteer events and recruiting new members to Farm Bureau programs such as the Young Farmers & Ranchers and the Women’s Committee. She has also helped with the onboarding of new county board members.
Florida Farm Bureau District 3 Field Representative Greg Harden nominated Godwin for the award.
“Ms. Godwin’s dedication to the organization, and her desire to grow the Farm Bureau brand is clearly evident with the positive membership growth that Jefferson County Farm Bureau has experienced, even in these unprecedented times,” said Harden.
Godwin is one of eight insurance agents nominated for the award. One agent is nominated from each of the eight Florida Farm Bureau membership districts.
