October 17, 2018

Many farm families in North Florida have suffered unprecedented losses due to Hurricane Michael. As part of its response to the crisis, Florida Farm Bureau has created a fund that will help North Florida farm families recovering from the storm.

The Hurricane Michael Relief Fund for Agriculture will provide support for the recovery from agriculture-related losses. All donations will be tax deductible.

Donors can make checks payable to:

“Our hearts and prayers go out to all families affected by this terrible storm,” said Florida Farm Bureau President John Hoblick. “The reports of destruction indicate that many farmers and ranchers will face years of work to restore their operations.

“We hope that this fund will help them as they continue to produce food, maintain natural resources and contribute to their communities. We ask our fellow citizens to join us in providing this support.”
