ASAP Week Highlights Safe Agricultural Practices

March 2020

American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2021 Ag Safety Awareness Program (ASAP) Week brings awareness to safety and health issues facing those involved in production agriculture.

Beginning February 28 and ending March 6, U.S. Agricultural and Health Centers will join Farm Bureaus across the country in promoting the program with this year’s theme, “Driving Safety Home.”

Each day of the week will focus on a specific subject that recognizes challenges farmers and ranchers face such as mental health struggles, roadway safety, caretaker support, general wellness and community roadway safety.

Florida Farm Bureau encourages farmers and ranchers to make safety a priority. Get involved by sharing resources and safety tips from the ASAP Week toolkit on social media. For more information, visit https://www.fb.org/events/2021-ag-safety-awareness-program-week.
