Volusia County Farm Bureau is planting a citrus tree in honor of longtime citrus farmer and Farm Bureau board member Bruce Crump at the county Farm Bureau office, 3090 E. New York Ave., DeLand, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. Ten-year-old Cheyenne Chaves, a member of the Ranch Raiders 4-H club, grew the tree.

Farm Bureau Executive Director Bill Hester said his organization is pleased to support 4-H youth and to plant the tree in honor of Crump who passed away in August.
