Lee County Partnership with Harry Chapin Food Bank
The partnership between Lee County Farm Bureau and Harry Chapin food bank brings fresh fruits and vegetables to families that may lack access to nutritious foods. Local farmers donate the food to give back to the community. This partnership began as an event for Food Check-Out Week, but was so popular that Lee County Farm Bureau began holding the event multiple times throughout the year.
