Stephen & Tracie Fulford

Stephen & Tracie Fulford live in Jefferson County. They have two children, Esther and Gannett. Stephen received a B.S. in Agriculture Operations Management and a M.S. in Agronomy from the University of Florida. In 2006, the Fulfords spearheaded a new corporation of four active members (Stephen, his father, his uncle, and his cousin) of their farm to form Fulford Family Farms, LLC. They currently work on a 1600 acre row crop farm in Monticello. Their major crops include peanuts (green and dry), cotton, and grain sorghum. Stephen is on the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and Tracie currently serves as the Young Farmer & Rancher representative on the Florida Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee.

Chris & Kelly Lyons

Chris & Kelly Lyons live in Lafayette County along with their three girls, Krista, Emily, and Kelby Grace. Chris’ father passed away when Chris was only 7 years old. Chris took over the family farm of 300 acres and has grown the operation to 1200 acres. The Lyons’ have an 800 acre coastal hay operation, 200 head of beef cattle, and 8 poultry houses (raising over 1.3 million broiler chickens per year). Kelly also runs a purebred dog kennel raising English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, and Pugs. Chris currently serves of the Florida Farm Bureau Board of Directors as the Immediate Past President of the Young Farmer & Rancher Leadership Group. Kelly currently serves on the Florida Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee. The Lyons family won the Florida Farm Bureau Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher Award in 2007.
