
Curt Williams has joined Florida Farm Bureau’s Government and Community Affairs Division as an assistant director.
Williams will be representing Florida Farm Bureau and the agricultural community on water, natural resources and growth management issues with major focus on the Southwest Florida Water Management and the St. Johns River Water Management districts. Williams will also work with state and federal agencies including the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, United States Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency.
He will also serve as a representative for the agriculture industry on local governmental issues within the counties that comprise both the Southwest and St. Johns River water management districts.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science and a master’s degree in agribusiness management from the University of Florida. He lives on his beef cattle farm in Webster.
