Florida Farm Bureau supports AG CONNECT Expo 2010

The Florida Farm Bureau Federation (FFBF) is cooperating with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and is now a supporting organization of AG CONNECT Expo 2010.

AG CONNECT Expo 2010 is the new agricultural trade show slated for January 13-15, 2010 (preview day January 12 by special admission) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The trade show will showcase the latest innovations, products, services and technology in all agriculture sectors and offer access to leading worldwide industry experts.

“We enthusiastically support AG CONNECT Expo, which is a global event,” said John L. Hoblick, FFBF president. “Florida Farm Bureau’s mission is to strengthen family farms of all sizes and kinds. In 2010, right here in their home state, our members will be able to interact with their peers from across North America and globally to discuss the latest innovations and technologies that can improve the efficiency of their operations and improve their bottom lines.”

“The participation of the Florida Farm Bureau members will bring an important perspective to AG CONNECT Expo,” said Charlie O’Brien, AEM’s vice president of agricultural services. “They will contribute to fostering a strong agricultural community that is understood around the world.”

The list of organizations that acknowledge the value of the upcoming AG CONNECT Expo by supporting the 2010 show continues to grow.

Globally, DLG, the German association which is the organizer of the international Agritechnica show, recently announced a long term alliance with AG CONNECT Expo. And, in December 2008, it was announced that Agrievolution, the Second World Summit on Agricultural Machinery involving Ministry of Agriculture representatives and equipment associations from around the world, would be held in Orlando in conjunction with AG CONNECT Expo 2010.
