University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Extension agents in your county are available to help you personally. Agents can audit your irrigation system, point out inefficiencies and offer tips specific to your lawn.
Homeowners should be aware of watering laws and restrictions in their area.
UF/IFAS recommends watering most lawns only half to three-fourths of an inch each week.
