Amy Hedstrom, Putnam/St. Johns County
Amy Hedstrom is the UF/IFAS Extension 4-H Agent in Flagler County specializing in programs offered to youth focusing on plant science, animal science and agriculture awareness. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Agriculture Education and Communication.
Prior to her employment with 4-H Youth Development, she worked in her family’s timber business which has been in operation in North East Florida for more than 25 years.
Troy & Katrina Moseley, Columbia County
Troy and Katrina Moseley operate a small cow/calf operation that they’ve greatly expanded over the past year. They grow ryegrass, sorghum and field peas to help maintain the cattle. Troy also assists his family with their hay operation and other crops including peanuts, wheat, corn and oats, just to name a few.
Katrina graduated with her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Food and Resource Economics with minors in Agricultural Law and Leadership from the University of Florida. She works for the USDA Rural Development Agency as a Loan Specialist.
Troy has owned and operated his own lawn care company since he was in high school, and works full-time at New Millennium Building Systems, a steel mill in Lake City, Fla. Their family consists of twin girls, five dogs, three horses and a herd of cattle.
