Farm Bureau Women Committee District 6

District 6
Valerie Ansell

Valerie is a native Floridian raised in Pasco County. She works part time at a local Cowboy Church where she is able to combine her faith and love of agriculture. She is also a managing partner on her family’s five generation farm agritourism operation.

Ansell is “Lovey” to her five grandkids who are the light of her life. She enjoys trail riding, drill team, photography and her 1964 F100. She is active in the cattlewomen’s association, local horse groups 4-H and serves on multiple local boards.

Valerie is a lifelong supporter of agriculture. As a youth, she was part of 4-H raising and showing dairy heifers. She has also served as a 4-H club leader and has led exceptional agricultural events at the county and district level. Her favorite part of being on the Women’s Leadership Committee is the support she receives from other women and the friendships made across the United States. Prior to being the district 6 Women’s Leadership Chair, she was also served in District 5.
