Food Check Out Week

logoWelcome to the Food Check-Out Week communications toolkit. Food Check-Out Week is celebrated the third week in February and is just one example of the Our Food Link outreach program that county leaders and volunteers use to effectively reach consumers to help engage them in today’s agriculture.

Below you will find a  Communications Toolkit specifically designed for Food Check-Out Week. It contains media tips, event ideas, media templates and social media tips and graphics to get your week noticed.

Don’t forget to complete the Our Food Link Evaluation Form after your event. Counties that submit the form have the opportunity to earn a $750 grant from the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Program to help fund future “Our Food Link” activities such as Food Check-Out Week or Farm-City Week.
