
The Florida Cattlemen’s Association, Florida CattleWomen, Inc. and The Florida Cattlemen’s Foundation are working with the Silver Spurs Riding Club and several other rodeo organizations and county cattlemen’s associations to put on a “Ranch Rodeo Finals and Cowboy Heritage Festival”. The Ranch Rodeo finals and festival will be October 3 & 4 and will be held in Kissimmee, Florida at the Silver Spurs Arena, in Osceola Heritage Park which is adjacent to the Florida Cattlemen‘s State Headquarters. This arena is a 8300 seat fully air conditioned facility located in the heart of central Florida Cattle Country, Osceola County. The Rodeo Finals is a year-end event that teams have qualified for by competing and placing 1st or 2nd in one of eight Ranch Rodeos held around the state of Florida. There will be 16 teams each sponsored by Florida ranches competing in 8 different events in the state finals that entails two rodeo performances. The Rodeos will feature Saddle Bronc Riding, Colt Riding, Wild Cow Milking, Branding, Team Doctoring, Double Mugging, Cattle Sorting, Stampede Race and a Boot Scramble for the kids.

Friday, October 3, Ranch Rodeo first performance 7 pm
Saturday, October 4, Cowboy Heritage Festival, 9 am-6 pm
Ranch Rodeo second performance 7 pm
The festival is intended to present Florida ranching and our unique Cracker Cowman way of life to the rest of the world. It will include numerous elements of our ranching heritage.
