Florida hosts southern FB presidents

Last weekend Florida Farm Bureau was honored to host the Southeastern Region Presidents and Administrators Conference at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa at Bonita Springs. It was a great Florida setting for this annual event, which allows top Farm Bureau management from our region to visit in an informal atmosphere and discuss issues common to our states. We also received an update on national issues from American Farm Bureau President Bob Stallman. Hosting his annual conference afforded our assistant to the president, Pat Cockrell, executive director Kevin Morgan and division directors the opportunity to visit with the leaders of other state Farm Bureaus in the southeast.

I am looking forward to spending the Memorial Day weekend with my family. Let’s all take time to consider the sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans.
