The 70th Annual Meeting of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation will be held October 6-8, 2011 at The Peabody Orlando and will center around the theme “Strengthening Family Farms and Communities since 1941” as Florida Farm Bureau’s newest initiative.  This year’s event promises to be one of our best, so please come and join other fellow Farm Bureau leaders to recognize and honor the volunteers who make our organization strong.

Registration Deadline & Cost
The registration deadline is September 9th and the cost is $125.00 for adults and $60.00 for children ages 11 and younger. There is no charge for children ages 3 or younger.

Special Group Rate Information
The Peabody Orlando is pleased to offer a special confidential rate of $179 per night (single or double occupancy) plus applicable taxes and surcharges, which are currently 1% taxable surcharge and 12.5% tax per night.  The Hotel Service Fee (HSF), presently at $9.00 plus tax per room, per night, entitles the registered guest to unlimited local and 800 calls, use of The Peabody Athletic Club, two bottles of water per day, two I-Ride tickets per room per day, lobby coffee service 5:30am-8:30am, shoe shine service, and access for one guest to the hotel’s wireless high-speed Internet service.

The hotel is also pleased to offer the special convention rates to Florida Farm Bureau members three days prior to and three days following our official meeting dates based on space availability.

Parking
A special daily self-parking rate of $12.00 plus applicable taxes will be in effect for the 2011 Florida Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. Overnight parking charges for valet parking are $20.00 plus applicable taxes.

Deadline
We encourage you to make your hotel reservation as soon as possible.  After Friday, September 9, 2011 the hotel will release any unused portions of the Florida Farm Bureau block; however, reservations received after Friday, September 9, 2011 will be accepted at the group rate as long as there are rooms available for general sale.

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
