G.B. Crawford

As Communications Manager, G.B. Crawford supports county Farm Bureau public relations programs, offers public relations training for county Farm Bureau members and provides material and other assistance for Farm-City Week and Food Check-Out Week activities. He also edits the Bureau Banner, Florida Farm Bureau’s employee newsletter, and writes original news and feature articles and produces photographs for FloridAgriculture, as well as Florida Farm Bureau’s Internet site.

G.B. creates and edits a monthly publication for Florida Farm Bureau’s Field services staff and edits the organization’s legislative newsletter, AgWatch. He received Florida Farm Bureau’s Newsperson of the Year award in 1993.

A University of Florida graduate, G.B. previously served as a newspaper editor and as a staff member in state government. He has also held a competitive fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities. G.B. and his wife, Joyce, live in McIntosh. You can telephone him at: (352) 374-1517.
