Charles Shinn

Charles Shinn is assistant director of government affairs. He works in a 16-county area in South Florida, representing Florida Farm Bureau and the agricultural community on water, natural resource and growth management issues. While his major focus is on the South Florida Water Management District, he will also work with state and federal agencies including the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency. Shinn earned a Master of Agriculture degree in horticultural sciences from the University of Florida, Gainesville. He can be reached by calling (352) 538-0853.
