Dan Buchanan

Dan’s District Two stretches from Gadsden and Liberty counties in the west to Hamilton, Suwannee and Lafayette counties in the east. Dan has worked for Florida Farm Bureau since 1974. He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism. As a field man, his main priority is to strengthen local county Farm Bureaus, as well as promote Farm Bureau policies at the local, state, and national levels.

Dan has two children, a son, Geoffrey, who is a Major in the United States Army, and a daughter, Sara, who lives in Tallahassee with her husband Chris Armour. Both children graduated from Florida State University.
