Dana Brooks
Dana Brooks is Director of National Affairs for Florida Farm Bureau’s Agricultural Policy Division. Dana will coordinate Florida Farm Bureau’s federal legislative efforts, the Farm Bureau Agriculture Contact Team (FBACT), and serve as staff person for the Peanut/Cotton and Sugar Advisory Committees.
Dana previously was director of congressional relations for the American Farm Bureau Federation in Washington DC. She has special expertise on many issues including the Farm Bill, disaster assistance, nutrition, program crops, specialty crops and fruits and vegetables.
Dana has worked for two U. S. Representatives: JoAnn Emerson (R) Missouri and Marion Berry (D) Arkansas. During her tenure as a Capitol Hill staff person, she was the liaison for the House Agriculture Committee and Ag Appropriations Subcommittee with special focus on the 2002 Farm Bill.
