Andrew Walmsley
Andrew T. Walmsley serves as Assistant Director in the Agricultural Policy and National Affairs Division of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation.
As Assistant Director, Andrew is the lead staff member on energy issues and works with Florida Farm Bureau’s advisory committees. He heads Florida Farm Bureau’s Carbon Trading Program; Florida Farm Bureau’s Environmental Services Program; Florida Farm Bureau’s Energy Task Force and is a registered lobbyist in Tallahassee. His responsibilities include water and natural resources issues, BMPs, conservation programs, energy and climate change issues. Andrew earned his degree in Agricultural Operations Management from the University of Florida.
Andrew is a former Noble Ruler of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, and a member of the Gamma Sigma Delta honorary agricultural fraternity. He is a graduate and a board of director of the Natural Resources Leadership Institute and served on the Governor’s Action Team on Energy and Climate Change- Agriculture, Forestry and Waste Technical Working Group.
